We are located about 1 ½ to 2 hours south of San Francisco, 35 minutes from Santa Cruz and about an hour from both Monterey and San Jose. We recommend that you print the following directions and bring these when visiting.
Head south on Highway 1. Take the Freedom Boulevard exit and go left over the freeway. After 5 miles you will come to a stop sign where you will make a left on Corralitos Road. Follow this for 2 miles. At the four-way stop sign the road becomes Eureka Canyon. Go straight and continue for 6.7 miles. Pema Osel Ling is on the left side, with a big blue and sign posted at the entrance.
From the South Bay or Silicon Valley Area:
Head south on Hwy 17, exit Summit Road. Go up the hill and take the right over the freeway at the stop sign make a left onto Summit Road. Follow for 5.9 miles. At the stop sign make a right and then a quick left (there is a sign pointing to Corralitos) on to Highland Rd. This turns into Eureka Canyon Rd. From the Highland Road turn off from Summit, Pema Osel Ling is approximately 8.7 miles once you turn off of Summit, located on the right-hand side. You cannot miss the big blue Pema Osel Ling sign.
Note - This is a one land, winding, mountain road. If this concerns you proceed on highway 17 to Santa Cruz and follow directions from there. This will add 45 minutes to your drive. If you are coming in the winter time or after a storm please glance at our blog for any current road conditions.
From Monterey:
Highway 1 traveling north take the Airport Boulevard Exit. At the junction with Freedom Boulevard, make a left and follow it for a couple of miles. At the stop sign, make a right onto Corralitos Road. Follow this for 2 miles and at the four-way stop sign the road becomes Eureka Canyon. Go straight and continue for 6.7 miles. Pema Osel Ling is on the left side, with a big blue and sign posted at the entrance.
